The Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (M.A.O.L.) is a multi-disciplinary master's degree in organizational leadership. It provides students with the education and experience to advance into positions of management within various organizations, from small firms to large corporations.
There are several different areas of focus for this degree. Students can choose to focus on one of several areas, depending on their interests, or they can learn all about organizational leadership. Students who choose to focus on one of these areas must meet specific requirements that include experience working in an executive position, being employed at a firm with several locations, and having earned a Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in the field. A Master of Arts in Organizational Management also allows students to apply for jobs in leadership roles as an entry-level position or as an Associate in Arts or Sciences.
The Master's degree will allow students to become experts in their chosen area of study, which can help them get the job they want and the raise they want to achieve. Students may learn all they need to know about the subject through books and online research, but many prefer to work directly with the topic to get an understanding of the many issues involved. These courses usually take between four and twelve years to complete. A student can choose to continue their studies for a Doctoral degree, but this requires additional time and money and usually takes even longer to complete.
Masters in Organizational Leadership programs teach students about how organizations are formed, how they function, and how people interact in these organizations. Students will learn about the various aspects of leadership, including: strategic planning; decision making and leadership skills; managing people and relationships; and communication skills. Students will learn how to develop effective communication and team work as well as how to use technology and information systems to boost the effectiveness and profitability.
A Master's degree also gives students a broad base of skills in decision making and decision-making. They will learn about the tools available to them and how to implement them effectively in their own companies. They will also be trained in how to conduct market research, how to handle change, how to analyze and evaluate data, and what tools are necessary for analyzing data, and how to use social media to influence and improve the organization. These skills can be applied anywhere, from a company's boardrooms to its field offices, from the boardroom to the boardroom. Students will learn how to build teams and how to be effective salespeople, as well as learning how to plan and execute projects.
