Masters in Public Health offers an undergraduate degree that offers a combination of classroom learning, professional clinical work and research. It is an accredited program offered by the American Public Health Association and is considered as one of the best bachelor degrees programs available.

Masters in Public Health offers two types of degrees: Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services and Bachelor of Science in Education. Students may select from different fields depending on their interests and academic backgrounds. A student may choose to specialize in one or more fields like Nursing, Public Health and Family Practice. The Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services degree prepares students to be health professionals while the Bachelor of Science in Education degree trains students to be educators.

Both master's degrees have similar goals and curriculum. However, each of the major programs has its own academic requirements. Upon completion of each program, students will receive an Associate of Arts Degree, Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services or Bachelor of Science in Education degree.

Health professionals can pursue a Masters in Health Administration. This Master's program focuses on the administration of health programs and policy development. These programs prepare students for higher level positions in health departments, hospitals, and other related health care agencies.

Students who prefer to specialize in the field of education can pursue a Master's Degree in Education. These programs usually offer six to seven year programs that focus on curriculum study and clinical experiences. The Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services focuses on curriculum design, clinical management, education, and other related topics. Many colleges offer these bachelor degrees online, which saves time and money for students. Masters in Public Health offers a number of degree programs so students may select which program is right for them.

If you are interested in pursuing a master's degree in public health but don't have time to complete an entire program on your own, you can get a Bachelor of Science in Health Management or an associate of science in Public Health. This degree will help students with all aspects of the program like job placement, job training, internship opportunities, and career services.

Upon completion of the master's degree students will have achieved a certificate which will show their work experience in a specific area, plus a doctorate degree in their field. Most students will want to earn their doctorate degree in the area of their choice to advance their careers, but this option may not be available for all students who want to pursue masters in public health.

After completing a Master's degree in public health students may be eligible for employment in several health care positions including Health Care Administrator, Health Care Program Manager, Health System Director, or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
