Here’s What Industry Insiders Say About Bachelor Of Kinesiology | bachelor of kinesiology

The Bachelor of Kinesiological Sciences is a four year program designed to help students in the development of strength, power, and athletic ability through the application of the sciences to human biology, exercise physiology and physical education. The Bachelor of Kinesiological Sciences program offers a multi-disciplinary approach to the study of body movement that encompasses both the arts (i.e., psychology, sociology, anthropology) and the sciences (i.e., biology, physiology, neurology, exercise science). The Bachelor of Kinsciences programs are designed to improve athletic performance and strength through the application of physiology, exercise science and biomechanics. Students will participate in research projects, clinical rotations, and laboratory exercises to provide students with an understanding of how muscles, tissues and systems respond to different training regimens and conditions.

The Bachelor of Kinsciences program focuses on human movements, especially the physiological response to stress, which is what we commonly refer to as the performance of physical activity. The program addresses all aspects of sport performance, including strength and power, coordination, flexibility, balance, and motor control. The program also provides students with the opportunity to specialize in either one of two areas, which include the study and analysis of the biomechanics of skeletal, cardiac, musculoskeletal, or nervous system structures and function, or the study and evaluation of the motor and sensory nervous system. The Bachelor of Insititute of Kinesiological Sciences offers two major concentrations. The first concentration, Human Movement Analysis and Research, is designed for students interested in applying scientific principles and research methods to develop research methodology, data analysis, and research design. The second concentration, Sports Kinesiolatry and Athletic Performance, is designed for students interested in evaluating physical, emotional, and mental responses to training and competition.

Human movement analysis and research include topics that focus on the physiology and biochemistry of movement, biomechanics, and neurological issues. Students will explore the physiological effects of resistance training, stretching, and sports activities that use the skeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, neurological, or endocrine systems. As part of the Bachelor of Insitute of Kinesiological Sciences, students have the opportunity to complete a capstone project and participate in laboratory exercises to provide a theoretical foundation for research and application in areas such as kinesiological factors influencing athletic performance and injury rehabilitation, motor functioning, physiological responses to repetitive or demanding environments, and cognitive processes associated brain structures, and function, and the development of resistance training programs.

The Bachelor of Insitute of Kinesiological Sciences, while being similar to the Master of Health Science in Kinesiology, also offers a program that focuses in clinical and research-oriented programs. Clinical courses cover a range of issues from nutrition and food choices to sports nutrition and athlete nutrition. The clinical program provides students with hands-on clinical experience to assist in providing research and clinical practice to students and the field by assisting instructors with research design, research techniques, and clinical research and evaluation. The clinical component of the Bachelor of Insitute of Kinesiologies also provides students with clinical experience and supervised clinical rotation in an athletic practice setting.

The Bachelor of Insititute of Kinesiologies program also incorporates research projects that offer a practical foundation for research and clinical practice. Students can choose to participate in research projects on biomechanics, nutritional deficiencies, neurological and muscle tissue architecture, nutrition, and sports nutrition. This program will provide students the opportunity to develop a thorough knowledge of the human metabolic response to exercise, including nutritional requirements for muscle growth and maintenance, strength, endurance, and metabolic adaptation to training, and competition. and also the ability to apply knowledge of human energy metabolism, metabolic stress, body composition, and electrolyte balance. The curriculum also provides students with theoretical knowledge and methods for conducting laboratory experiments.

The Bachelor of Insitute of Kinesiologist's Program is very demanding but a great education and training program to pursue as a career in kinesiology. This program is also accredited and recommended by many professional organizations. In fact, the Bachelor of Insitute of Kinesiologist Program is one of the most recommended programs for students interested in pursuing a career in kinesiology. Students who earn a Bachelor of Insitute of Kinesiologist degree will be well prepared for an academic career in the health care industry. in athletics, sports medicine, sport and physical education, kinesiology research, or other related fields. Many students choose to become instructors, coaches, consultants, and trainers in physical education and recreation programs.
